Falmouth Sustainable Buildings Tour
Wednesday, April 26 & Thursday, April 27
If you are interested in learning about generating your own power, growing more of your own food or having a more resilient home, please join us on April 26 and 27 for the Falmouth Sustainable Buildings Tour. Several homes in East Falmouth and Woods Hole will be open for self-tours where people can see a variety of sustainable systems at work including solar hot water for domestic water and space heating, residential-scale wind, photovoltaics, composting toilets, net zero design, and food production.
On April 27, the tours will finish at Woods Hole Research Center at 5:30 p.m. where guided building tours, a wine and cheese reception, and a short talk by WHRC Founder George Woodwell will be offered.
Registration is requested only if you plan to attend the events at WHRC on April 27.
